Man who died on Daventry’s bypass named by police

POLICE have named the man who died on Daventry’s bypass on Tuesday morning (February 14).

Richard Kent, aged 46 from Harebell Way in Rugby, died on the A45 Stefen Way bypass close to the A361 junction.

Police believe he had stopped his van and got out onto the road when he was hit by a blue Renault Laguna estate travelling from the direction of Northampton.
