Man with head injuries at Daventry pub

THE Dun Cow pub in Daventry has reopened after being taped off by police earlier today (Friday).

Police were called to the Brook Street pub at 12.30am to reports of a man with head injuries.

He was taken to hospital where his injuries were described as not serious.

Officers are investigating how the injuries were caused.

Police remained at the scene until late this morning, but have since gone and the pub has opened.
