Man seriously injured in motorbike crash

POLICE are appealing for information after a serious motorcycle crash near Daventry.

A motorcyclist was travelling along Stockwell Lane near Catesby at around 6.30pm on Wednesday May 30 with three other bikers when police say for unknown reasons the male rider lost control of his Yamaha R6 and crashed into trees.

The male rider from Rugby was airlifted to Walsgrave Hospital with serious injuries. He is now in a stable condition.
