Man left with fractured face after Daventry assault

POLICEin Daventry are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place in Tovey Drive on Wednesday, July 4, night.

Sometime between 5.30pm and 8.30pm, on Wednesday 4 July, a 52-year-old man was approached by an unknown person who punched him in the side of the head, causing three fractures to his face.

The victim did not see the offender, so there is no description available.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have an information about this incident or who may have witnessed it.
