Man dies after accident on the A5

A 61-YEAR-OLD man has died after an accident on the A5 this morning (Friday).

The accident happened close to Butchers Lane, Pattishall at around 8.35am and involved a black Maserati travelling in the direction of Towcester.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for four hours while investigations were carried out.
