Learn more about renewable energy at free Daventry event

A free drop-in event about renewable energy is being held at the iCon Environmental Innovation Centre in Daventry later this month.

Residents and organisations can go along on September 25 from 4pm to 7pm and get information and advice about renewable energy installations and initiatives at the event.

Information about solar PV, air source heat pumps, solar water heating, biomass boilers and ground source heat pumps will be available.

There will also be details on how to generate an income from installing renewable energy technologies in relation to the feed-in tariff scheme and the renewable heat incentive, as well as free planning advice from Daventry District Council’s Development Control team.

The event has been organised by the Council and is free to attend with drinks and snacks will be available to buy from the iCon’s café.
