Leading the way at new dog shows

A DOG show will take place in Daventry on Sunday.

Daventry-based Heart of England Dog Shows are hosting a Kennel Club-licensed companion dog show at Daventry Community Centre.

There will be 26 classes.The show will open for registration at noon, with judging from 1pm.

Local pet food manufacturer Butcher’s Pet Care are acting as show sponsorsd and there will be dog food prizes on offer.

All proceeds from the event will be split between Daventry Community Centre, Leafy Shade Rescue & the Protection of Unwanted Puppies Society.

The show is for all dogs over six months, pedigree or crossbreed

A further four shows will follow with one each month, the last one in April, when winners will be invited back for the Champion of Champions show.
