New classes for expectant parents will be launched in the Daventry area next month.

The ‘Speedbumps’ classes from the Daventry and villages NCT will offer antenatal classes based at Mayfield Sports Centre, Timkin, with the first session onWednesday, February 20 at 6.30pm.

Daventry NCT chairman, Laura Wild, said: “This session will focus on after the baby arrives. Local mums will be on hand to help with everything from changing and bathing to breast feeding or preparing a bottle. It’s a great chance to learn more and make new friends.”
