A Government minister visited Daventry on Thursday to speak to chairman of parish councils.
Nick Boles, parliamentary under-secretary of state, department for communities and local government, visited the newly built Daventry University Technical College, spoke on the subject of neighbourhood plans and the advantages for the local communities. He was invited by the town’s MP Chris Heaton-Harris.
Prior to the meeting, Mr Boles explained to the Gusher’s Steve Mills about what a neighbourhood plan is and what it can do.
