Get a taste of local produce and drink on Sunday at village's food festival

Preston Capes Food and Rural Crafts Fayre takes place on Sunday May 22 – not on the Saturday as printed in last week’s Daventry Express.

The event runs from 11am to 3pm in a marquee on the Old Cricket Field, Preston Capes – the entrance to the site is at the top of the High Street in the village.

Stalls will include cakes, pies, artisan breads, eggs and meats, vintage ware, cards and pictures, willow work and wooden items, plus many others.

There will also be a raffle, bottle tombola and face painting.

Refreshments and teas will be available throughout the day. The bar and barbecue will be open during the day and into the evening.

Entry will be free and car parking is available on site.
