Further blow to plans for school on Middlemore

DAVENTRY District Council (DDC) has set up a new company to run new homes on the Middlemore estate.

The decision was taken at a strategy meeting held last night (Thursday) despite complaints from residents. The new homes are earmarked for a site which was originally proposed for a primary school. Many people have called for a school to be built on the estate instead.

Under the plans, there will be 45 homes on the estate.
