Thousands of people attended Europe’s biggest pinball festival, a three-day event which was held at the Puma Daventry Court Hotel.
UK Pinball Party saw fanatics from across the country visit the event held from Friday to Sunday.
The festival had more than 110 pinball machines on offer, set on freeplay, with the biggest variety ever seen - from 1950s’ electromechanicals up to the most modern, solid state pinball machines.
Members of the UK Pinball Group bought along pinball machines from their own collections to allow people to play games they would not otherwise get to play.
This unique pinball event had food and drink available while there were pinball machines for sale, new and used pinball parts to buy, raffles, arcade video games to play and much more, with a special guest of George Gomez who designed games Lord Of The Rings and The Avengers - there on the Saturday. He talked about his career while guests enjoyed a three-course dinner.
Andrew Heighway, organiser of the event and who runs Heighway Pinball, the sole manufacturer of pinball machines in the UK, said: “It went very well, we were even busier than we were last year. We had well over 1,000 people over the three days.
“Pinball is growing and growing and we are at the head of that revival.
“I’m very happy and we are already planning for next year’s event at the same venue.”
