E-fit released following assault and attempted burglary in Guilsborough

Police have released an E-fit image of a man wanted in connection with an attempted burglary.

Details of the incident in Cold Ashby Road, Guilsborough, were released by police at the start of August, but now they have issued an image of one of the suspects.

At about 3pm on Saturday, July 30, elderly man spotted two men in his back garden. The men ran off to the front of the property where they got into a red hatchback. The victim tried to stop the men getting into the car and was thrown to the ground by the man in the e-fit.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his mid-20s, about 5ft 10in, with a stocky/muscular build. He had a long, narrow/gaunt face, narrow eyes, small mouth with thin lips, no facial hair, a smooth complexion and pale skin tone. He was wearing a black or navy hooded top with the hood up, dark blue or black jeans and black laced soft boots.
