Work to repair surface water sewers ahead of their adoption by Anglian Water is to get underway at Daventry’s Middlemore estate from Monday.
The improvements will be carried out by contractors for Daventry District Council in five phases and are expected to be completed by late July. Road surfacing will then be carried out.
From June 24 to July 28 it will focus on the junction of Farnborough Drive and Claydon Road. No closures to traffic are expected.
From July 2 to July 8 work will be on land to the western end of Farnborough Drive with no affect to traffic. Between July 9 and 14 the works will require the closure of Farnborough Drive east of its junction with Clayton Road, though resident access will be maintained via Middleton Road.
July 15 to 22 will require the closure of Farnborough Drive, south west of the Bellway site entrance. Access for residents will be via Hidcote Way and Claydon Road.
The final phase from July 23 to 28 will be at the western end of Hidcote Way.
Following this resurfacing work will take place, requiring closures in the places mentioned above.
