A dance crew featuring a teenager from Daventry has made it through to the live semi finals of Britain’s Got Talent.
Cartel Dance Crew made the cut on Sunday night.
The group includes Jordan Goodenough from Daventry, plus dancers from across Northamptonshire, and will now perform in Wednesday night’s semi final.
Speaking to the Daventry Express today (Monday) Jordan said: “All the acts were called down to London for the reveal day.
“We were sitting there and we really didn’t think we’d go through. When they said we’d got through, the reactions on our faces are real.
“Since we found out we’ve been rehearsing every couple of days to make sure we’re really clean for the performance.
“It’s a whole new set from us. It’s going to be a surprise for everyone on the night.
“Performing live to the nation is going to be massive. Lots of the acts are London based, or foreign.
“I have no idea who else we’re up against on Wednesday. There are so many good acts that have got through to the semi-finals.”
Cartel’s first audition in front of the judges for Britain’s Got Talent has now hit 440,000 views on YouTube.
The live semi final shows are on this week on ITV.
