Daventry store backs awards

SPECSAVERS in Daventry is backing a nationwide campaign to celebrate people who are hard of hearing and have triumphed over adversity.

People from the district who have never let hearing loss hold them back are being urged to get in touch to enter the annual Sound Barrier Star Awards.

People can nominate themselves, a friend or family member by picking up an entry leaflet from Specsavery in Bowen Square or downloading an entry form at www.specsavers.co.uk/hearing.

The closing date for entries is May 31.
