Daventry group under starter's orders for horse talk
The world of horse racing, and the role of a Northamptonshire-based company in it, will be the topic of the next U3A meeting.
The next meeting of the Daventry and District U3A will be at Daventry Community Centre, in Ashby Roadat 2pm on July 21.
Adrian McGlynn of Wetherbys will give his presentation on The Sport of Kings, which promises to provide a fascinating insight into the horse racing world and showing how his company has helped to develop and administer the sport for more than 200 years.
New members are welcome to join the U3A, which organises and encourages activities for retired and semi-retired people. More information is on the Daventry U3A website.
