Two young up-and-coming ballet stars from Daventry have had their dreams come true by securing a role in a professional show.
Caitlin Faires, 12, and Phoebe Willetts, 11, have been selected in the English Youth Ballet’s lavish adaptation of Sleeping Beauty .
Caitlin will play the roles of Lilac Attendant and Russian Dancer in the show, while Phoebe will portray Carabosse’s Monster and Little Jewel.
They were selected at an audition in June this year from more than 250 young hopefuls and will appear in the lavish adaptation of The Sleeping Beauty. It will be performed at the impressive Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton for three performances on September 19 and 20.
All the young dancers in the cast will dance alongside stunning international principal artists in a professional production.
Both Caitlin and Phoebe will gain an insight into what life is like as a professional ballet dancer.
It will be performed at 7.30pm on Friday September 19 and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday September 20.
