A DAVENTRY author is celebrating the publication of his second book.
Dominic Luke, who lives on Danetre Drive, has released his latest novel called Snake In The Grass.
It follows on from his debut book Aunt Letitia published earlier this year.
Snake In The Grass tells the story of a woman who has lost her dog and is haunted by the ghost of her mother.
He said: “I have lived in villages a lot of my life and this book was inspired by a tight-knit community but there are still plenty of secrets in place.
“This was a different challenge because this was a contemporary novel whereas my previous book had been set in history, so it was about finding a different way of writing.
“I am really pleased with the end result and the cover is really striking, it looks good.”
He is already starting work on a new book which he hopes will be published in the new year and says is likely to have a historical setting.
Snake in the Grass is available to buy now.
