Date set for crematorium

A DECISION on whether to allow a crematorium to be built in Willoughby is set to be made later this month.

Rugby Borough Council planning department have confirmed the planning application for a crematorium on Moor Lane, Willoughby is going to be before the committee on Wednesday, June 13.

Willoughby parishchairman Mike Thomas said: ‘The meeting on June 13 begins at 5.30pm. The public can attend and we anticipate that many people will wish to do so. We have arranged free transport by coach leaving from Main Street, Willoughby, at 4.30pm and returning after the meeting. Anyone wanting a lift to the coach can call me on 01788 891338.”
