Daredevils have the prescription to help good causes
TWO members of staff from a medical practice in Daventry will be strapping on their parachutes to do a charity jump later this month.
Tracey Bishop and Dr Patti Gardiner will be throwing themselves out of a plane on Saturday March 27 raising money for two different charities.
Mrs Bishop will be supporting the Taplow Traffic Charity Trust – an organisation that helps children bereaved or who are related to someone seriously injured in a road crash.
Dr Gardiner will be jumping for the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture.
They will be joined by Dr Gardiner's daughter Julia Craig who is jumping for the Children in Vulnerable Accommodation project.
They can be sponsored by visiting the surgery, where they are also selling raffle tickets to raise money, with the chance to win one of two meals for four plus wine at the Daventry Barcel Hotel.
