Six youngsters from the Danetre and Southbrook Learning Village aged 12-16 visited the headquarters of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

They were huge contributors in helping with the Christmas Market that was held at the academy, which had a range of stalls selling anything from crafts, mince pies, gingerbread houses and even candy canes.

Nearly £1150 was raised for the charity, which will help to fund a life-saving mission.

The students got to see the helicopter land and learn all about the fantastic work the team do across the county.
