People living in the Daventry district are being urged to have their say on the way that consultations are carried out.
Daventry District Council (DDC) is carrying out the survey based on how it engages with people in the area, on the decisions that it makes and how it affects people’s lives.
DDC is keen to give everyone in the district the opportunity to have their say in how its services are delivered through public consultation, surveys, public meetings and its People’s Panel.
A scrutiny task panel has been set up to look at how effective those methods are, and how the Council can improve the way it consults with residents on various issues.
The panel has launched a survey inviting people to rate the council’s methods of public engagement.
The local authority also wants to hear from people who have suggestions about how it can improve their services.
The survey was launched on Thursday last week and it will remain available until Thursday, May 15.
For further information on the consultation or to take part, visit www.daventrydc.gov.uk/consultation or phone 01327 871100 to request a paper copy.
