Youngsters will be able to enjoy a wide range of sport and craft activities with a series of events taking place during the half term holidays.
Events have been organised by Everyone Active, who run Daventry Leisure Centre and Everdon Outdoor Learning Centre.
At Daventry Leisure Centre, a trampolining camp will be held on Monday, this will be followed by a basketball camp on Tuesday and a cricket camp on Wednesday. The week will be finished off with a two-day tennis camp. All of the sessions will be held between 10am and 3pm.
Luke Parratt, general manager at Daventry Leisure Centre, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers the half term Holiday Camps. Children will get the chance to make new friends, try new sports and activities and most of all, have fun.”
There will also be a connections camp run from 8.30am to 10am where people can go before the sports camp.
There are activities for two different age groups at the Everdon Outdoor Learning Centre.
For chidren aged seven to 11 there will be a native American day on Tuesday. Youngsters can discover native Americans and the way they used nature. On Thursday, there will be a session designed to teach children about animals and how they use their senses.
Youngsters aged two-and-a-half to six will get to listen to stories and build small homes for children on Wednesday. On Friday, there is a chance to follow the Gruffalo trail and take part in games and woodland activities.
