Charity family fun day at Daventry hotel

The event takes place at the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel, off Sedgemoor Way in the town, on Sunday May 29 from 2pm to 6pm.

Admission is free of charge and will include a complimentary barbecue and drink.

Children can enjoy the following activities free of charge: face painting, bouncy castle, inflatable fun run, and a farm animals pet corner.

In addition there will be stalls including a tombola, cakes, lucky dip, and ice cream van.

From 2pm there will be events in the arena including a falconry display, parent and child sports day races, and fun dog show with various categories (families can bring their dogs along and enter them).

There will also be music and a discounted bar.

Any proceeds from the day will be going to SANDS Northamptonshire – the local branch of the stillbirth and neonatal death charity which provides help and support for bereaved parents and families who have suffered the death of a baby either before, during, or shortly after birth.
