Crick History Society and The Moorings celebrated the bicentenary of their part of the Grand Union Canal on Saturday, August 9.
The festival took place in the village on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a wide range of celebrations. This included a procession of historic boats, an opening of a commemorative plaque at the Wharf. There were live music performances on the first two days of the bicentenary celebrations. There was also children’s activities, bouncy castle, face painting and other craft activities.
