Hundreds of people turned out for the first West Haddon Carnival in 17 years.
Visitors dressed up as a host of characters including witches, dalmatians and Ace Ventura to take part in the carnival’s parade.
Among the other attractions at the carnival held on the village’s playing field included stalls, live music, dog show and dancing.
There was also a tug-of-war competition, boxing, stalls and games including Mario Kart. Organisers have already confirmed there are provisional plans for another carnival to take place next year.
