Daventry Town FC is holding a series of car boot sales over the summer to raise money for the development of new teams for boys and girls and for players with disabilities.
The club needs funds to buy sports equipment and to pay for its coaches to attend FA courses.
Matthew Edgar, the club’s head of youth development, said: “As part of our five-year plan our aim is to set up new teams for boys and girls and for players with disabilities.
“We are a community club and so we want all sections of the community to be able to come and play football with us.”
The first car boot sale will be held in the club’s car park on Saturday. Sellers will be able to turn up at 6.30am and buyers from 7.30am. Further sales will be held on July 5 and 19 and on August 9.
