Bustling bazaar raises money for village hall

A 16 STALL bazaar was enjoyed by Newnham residents on Saturday.

Over 100 people turned out for the autumn fayre which raised £400 for the village hall funds.

Village hall committee member Michelle Harding said: “It turned out to be a really good day and many people enjoyed it, plus it was a great fundraiser for the village hall.”

Stalls included jewellery, preserves, cakes, textiles and a tombola as well as a host of children’s activities.

The village hall committee members also thanked everyone who donated prizes for the tombola.
