A SPECIAL storytelling chair has been installed at Newnham Primary School.
The new chair is the final part of the outdoor classroom and has been made out of old driftwood by Daventry-based firm Elite Woodwork.
Headteacher John Lawson said: “This project has been worked on for about a year since I suggested to our friends organisation we could get one.
“They have managed to source the people and found a local firm Haynes Construction who installed it free of charge.
“The chair looks really amazing, it has been custom made for us so it is unique. It looks like it is a thousand years old.
“The children really love the new chair. They all wanted to sit down on it and started telling each other stories.”
