All fun and games at Daventry event

IT was a gamers’ paradise at a special convention held in the town.

More than 100 people turned out for Vault Con at The Phoenix Centre in Ashby Road, Daventry, which played host to a variety of games, tournaments and demonstrations designed to appeal to everyone regardless of gaming experience.

Organised by The Games Vault in Sheaf Street, Daventry, the event took place on Saturday and Sunday.

Owner of The Games Vault and event organiser Steve Rhodes said: “It was fantastic. All of the tournaments were fully booked which I was pleased about.

“We weren’t sure how many were going to turn up, but there were a few who weren’t experienced gamers who also came along and that’s what we wanted. A huge thank you to all of the people who made it a great weekend.”

There are plans to repeat the convention next year.
