WICKED Wednesdays went out with bang as over 100 children attended an Olympic themed art workshop last week.

The Daventry Leisure Centre hosted the final Wicked Wednesday event for the summer with giant board games and arts and crafts on offer for the children. Previous events have included judo and boxing.

Councillor Alan Hills, Portfolio Holder for Community, Culture and Leisure at Daventry District Council, said: “In total we’ve had around 1,500 children take part in our free activities over the summer and I would like to thank all the families who took part and hope they had a good time.”
