YOUNGSTERS got their kicks at a free judo class yesterday (Wednesday) from Daventry District Council.

As part of the Wicked Wednesday events, at the Daventry Leisure Centre, a range of classes including judo, boxing, basketball and street dancing have been on offer.

Councillor Alan Hills, Portfolio Holder for Community, Culture and Leisure at Daventry District Council, said: “I attended the Wicked Wednesday session and it was incredibly popular. Next week we will have a free Olympic-themed graffiti art workshop.”
