A CHARITY curry night orgnised by a Daventry fundraising group has collected a total £400.

The Daventry Free Spirits Marie Curie Fundraising Group held the night at The Village Garden Indian restaurant, in Long Buckby last Thursday.

The group was set up by Sara Jelley in memory of her parents Tom and Josephine.

The money was raised through a combination of table bookings and a raffle, with all the prizes donated by local people and businesses.

The group’s next fundraising event is a Blooming Great Tea party to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee on Tuesday, June 5 in Norton.
