A Daventry man transformed his house on the Headlands estate for trick or treaters.
Dean Parsons, who lives on Queens Road, made his house spook-tacular by putting out decorations for youngsters brave enough to venture for sweets.
The house had a castle frontage put outside while there was an inflatable ghost and three pumpkins which talked in a bid to scare visitors. Mr Parsons said: “We have been doing something every year since 2009 and it has been getting bigger every year,
“You see all the fun the Americans have with Halloween and I thought ‘why should they have all of the fun?’.
“We were handing out so many bags of sweets to people that came round. We must have had more than 200 people visit.”
