GOURMANDS gathered for a celebration of the very best in local produce at Holdenby House.
The Northamptonshire Food Show @ Holdenby took place on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
Visitors had the chance to enjoy masterclass sessions taught by professional chefs, cooking demonstrations and a wide variety of food and drink available.
Caroline Houghton, one of the organisers of the show, said: “It has gone really well, we had 3,000 people on Sunday which was a record.
“The new elements to the show – the masterclass and the cookery demonstrations – have been very popular.
“It has been nice involving the housekeeper and head gardener at Holdenby in the show which has gone down well.”
It has also been a success for the traders who attended.
Jonathan Chaplin, from The Village Orchard in Flore, said: “It has been a really good day. We were very fortunate the weather was fantastic on the Sunday and there were lots of people through the gates. It’s a great event.”
