PEOPLE are being asked their views on a new organisation being set up to improve health and social care services in Northamptonshire.
Called Healthwatch Northamptonshire, the new independent organisation will be commissioned by Northamptonshire County Council and set up as a social enterprise open to everyone.
It will bring together the views and experiences of Northamptonshire people with the aim of improving health and social care services as well as looking at which groups and communities are not being heard and find ways for them to be represented.
The new organisation will gather views on a range of services provided by the public sector, by independent trusts or by voluntary or other contracted organisations.
These include GPs, hospitals, council social care services, opticians, dentists, pharmacists, clinics, care homes, home care, children’s social care and more.
