A SPONSORED blindfold has raised more than £250 to help train guide dog puppys.
The Rainbows Group in West Haddon raised a total of £266 through the event.
Unit helper Linda Brush said: “We blindfolded all the children and asked them to identify 12 different objects by sound, smell, taste and touch.
“They raised money for each one they got right. We had things like bells, whistles, crisps and onions. They all enjoyed it and it was good fun.
“This money will help sponsor two dogs. They will be trained in Leamington and then matched up with a suitable person.
“There are two reasons we chose to do this. We have twins at the group who are partially sighted and I have a guide dog which sometimes has a litter in the summer.”
