AN ARRAY of vintage and brand new motorbikes will roar into Daventry when the annual Motorcycle Festival comes to town.
The festival will return to the High Street for the second year running on Saturday, May 19.
It is being organised by the Daventry Business Partnership in conjunction with local motorcycling groups and organisations.
The free event will see hundreds of bikes on show from years gone by.
And visitors will have the chance to get up close, hear their engines roar and learn more information about the bikes from both their owners and a variety of visual displays.
Sally Halson, manager of the Daventry Business Partnership said: “Last year’s event was extremely popular with bikers and visitors alike and we are keen to build on this success.
“The bikes created a real buzz in the town centre.
“If anyone is interested in bringing a bike along please get in touch using the contact details below.”
Sally continued: “There are a number of local clubs who supported the event last year and are involved again in 2012.
“The event is still in its infancy but the plan is to grow it each year so it becomes an established festival in Daventry’s event calendar.
“I would like to say a special thank you to all these groups and their members for their continued support and look forward to welcoming them to Daventry.”
