More than £1,000 has been raised at a go karting event held at Whilton Mill.
The funds will go to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) after the event on Tuesday, September 23.
The race raised £1,200 for the charity’s welfare work with farming families facing financial difficulties.
Twenty teams of four made up of farmers, land agents, vets, feed merchants and tractor dealerships battled it out over the two-hour endurance course, but it was Team Coton Flyers – farmers from the Clay Coton area – who grabbed the 2014 title.
RABI Northamptonshire chairman Charles Morton said: “It was fantastic to see a full grid and the support that we have received from firms across the area and beyond has been incredible.”
