Four male members of PJ’s Dance Club in Barby have slimmed their way to success.

Brian Hope, Malcolm Hill, Ron Dunn and Alan Payne have lost weight and danced their way back to fitness.

They took part in a sponsored slim to raise money for Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

The super-slimmers agreed to diet for three months and each got sponsored by members of the dance club.

In total they have lost six stone and they raised £237.50.

They said they were thrilled with their combined weight loss as well as helping the emergency service, which receives no government funding.

“We hope to keep dancing and keep the weight off!” said Malcolm.
