Flore Parish Council has officially submitted the village’s neighbourhood plan to Daventry District Council.

The document is available to view on the parish council web site.

DDC will be undertaking a further round of public consultation on the plan.

Parish clerk Sue Halkett said: “The preparation of this document has been the longest and most detailed information gathering exercise that Flore has ever experienced.

“The last village appraisal was in 1989 and did not combine public community events, consultations and resident participation at the level undertaken in the development of this plan from inception 2014.

“The level of involvement and interest shown by Flore residents in compiling the plan has been both valuable and encouraging.”

Neighbourhood plans set out where local people want homes to be built and what they should look like.
