A VILLAGE pre-school celebrated its 40th birthday with a party for past and present.
Flore Pre-School marked its anniversary by holding an open day for the wider community to see what they do at the school.
Louise Pyne from the pre-school said: “We had a great day with lots of people coming along.
“We had some of our photos covering what the nursery has done since the 1990s, and people brought along photos from the 1970s and ‘80s.
“We had past children coming back, plus the original founders as well who came back for the day.
“We also put on activities for children and as it was an open day we also had people along to see what kinds of things we do.”
