A new exhibition telling Daventry’s history in 100 objects opens at the town’s museum on Saturday May 7.
The new display features many items from the museum stores that have rarely been on show before – among other objects that represent a piece of Daventry’s rich history.
One of the biggest objects on display is the eighteenth century Moot Hall Clock and hand that is 2ft long.
The museum closed on Friday 29 and will remain closed until May 7 to allow the new exhibition to be set up.
After May 7 the museum, in New Street, will be open from 9.30am to 1.30pm Tuesdays to Fridays, and from 10am to 4pm on the first Saturday of each month.
