Youngsters across the Daventry district have been enjoying a host of activities during the Easter holidays.
Children visiting Daventry Country Park on Monday were able to take part in Mini Mondays.
The scheme included the chance to take part in a bird identification trail followed by pine cone bird feeder making. A second session will be held this coming Monday and includes Easter bonnets and basket making.
For the more active child, there has been a series of sport camps taking place at Daventry Leisure Centre including basketball, trampolining and tennis camps.
A further trampolining and tennis camp will take place from Monday to Thursday next week.
Meanwhile,at the Everdon Outdoor Learning Centre, there was a scavenger hunt on Tuesday and Nature Detectives event on Wednesday. There will be various events until the end of the half term. Call 01327 361384 for more details.
Elsewhere, Tesco Express at Wimborne Place on Daventry’s Ashby Fields estate donated an Easter egg to every student and member of staff at both Busy Bees Nursery and Ashby Fields Primary School on the final day of school term.
Karla Kershaw a Tesco employee said: “It was great to give something back to the community and all the children were really pleased we were able to give them an early Easter present on their last day of school! I felt like the Easter bunny!”
Groups of ten children were led from one scene to another by a guide.
A small memento of the occasion was given to the children.
