A MAD scientist popped into a village primary school to help give youngsters an innovative take on learning.
Jupiter Jules, from the Mad Science Group, showed pupils at Staverton Primary School how to make science imaginative through educational programmes.
School headteacher Tim Nelson said: “Jupiter Jules did a demonstration for the whole school which created a lot of smoke and got the children very excited.
“The aim is to get pupils more interested in science and we’ll also be starting an after-school club in the new year.
“We are also doing chemistry lessons about things we can do in the kitchen and, in the future, a bug hunt. We try to make things a bit different and help develop the children’s understanding.”
