Notice to improve for town school

A SCHOOL’S plan to become an academy has come under threat following an Ofsted inspection which reveals a further fall in standards.

Daventry’s Willam Parker School has been given a notice to improve by an inspection report set to be published this week.

The school is currently working towards becoming an academy, but cannot do so until it improves its Ofsted grading at its next inspection, due in 12 to 18 months.
