New chapter for school as super head pledges change

A NEW ‘super head’ will take over at a Daventry secondary school today (Thursday) in a bid to turn its fortunes around.

Krysia Butwilowska will meet with parents at William Parker School for the first time tonight before starting work full-time from tomorrow.

She will be the school’s interim headteacher for the year after it was agreed that headteacher Jason Brook would take time away from the school. The school’s exams results had fallen under Mr Brook’s leadership.
