Cambridge offer for Daventry pupil

A pupil from Daventry has received an offer to study at Cambridge University.

Carl Martin was accepted to study natural sciences at Fitzwilliam College as one of 12 students at Warwick School to impress Oxbridge interviewers.

Headmaster Gus Lock said: “Competition for places at these and many other prestigious universities seems to get stronger every year, so I was delighted that 12 of our pupils gained offers from Oxford and Cambridge this year as well as many more at other leading universities.

“I offer most sincere congratulations both to them and to my colleagues.”

Other subject offers include modern languages and several in mathematics, computing, computer seines,natural history, chemical engineering and law.
