A CHARITY gym will be improving its facilities after receiving a £2,000 donation.

Reach for Health, which is based on High March in Daventry, helps people rehabilitate after they have undergone surgery and operations.

The money was donated from Daventry and District Housing (DDH).

Jo Davis, from Reach for Health, said: “We got the money after applying to DDH’s community chest fund.

“We were successful in getting £2,000 which is going towards the facilities at the gym.

“We want to improve the disabled access and the shower and toilet areas.

“Lots of vulnerable people use the gym and this work will be a big benefit for them and all of our members.

“We were delighted to get the money and are looking forward to improving the facilities at the gym.”
